Mira Robertson is a screenwriter, script editor, script consultant, screen writing teacher and short story writer.

Mira currently has original feature films in development with some of Australia’s best directors and producers including BILLY BOY with director Ana Kokkinos, MORNING GLORY with producer Marian Macgowan and CHERRY BOMB with director Glendyn Ivin. Mira is also currently adapting an award-winning Australian novel for the screen for Madman Productions.

Mira co-wrote ONLY THE BRAVE and HEAD ON, both directed by Ana Kokkinos. These films had successful international releases and won many awards, including an AFI for Best Script for ONLY THE BRAVE and an AWGIE for Best Adapted Script for HEAD ON. With Scott Millwood she co-wrote documentary WHATEVER HAPPENED TO BRENDA HEAN?, which screened at the Melbourne International Film Festival in 2008 and was broadcast in an hour-length version on ABC TV in 2010.

Her script editing credits include Ana Kokkinos’ THE BOOK OF REVELATION, Jon Hewitt’s X, feature documentary WORDS FROM THE CITY by Rhys Graham and Natasha Gadd and Scott Millwood’s award winning documentary WILDERNESS.

She is the script editor on a number of projects in development, including PIANO LESSONS with writer/director Ana Kokkinos.
